For a practical comparison, most users often look at 1 deposit casino, provided they check the licence carefully. Welcome offers catch the eye, yet their true worth rests on the wagering terms, which repay a calm read. Payment options need to be secure, and the payout time is usually one of the most telling indicators of a serious casino. The range of titles is usually wide, from video slots to roulette, bringing fans genuine variety. Live dealer play draws in users with real-time streams, and the stream quality drive the entire experience. A responsive help desk marks the standard whenever questions arise, above all if clear answers are available. Payouts expose the real nature behind a casino, so clear limits and steady speed inspire trust. Sensible gaming must remain a priority, so reality checks and clear budgets always support the player. A genuine licence is the first thing to confirm, because it proves that the operator respects firm standards. Welcome offers look tempting, yet their actual benefit rests on the wagering terms, which reward a careful look. Banking methods need to be convenient, and the cash-out period is usually one of the most telling marks of a honest brand. The range of titles tends to be generous, from video slots to roulette, offering users real choice. Live dealer play appeals to fans with real-time streams, and the stream quality define the overall atmosphere. A responsive help desk makes the tone whenever questions arise, particularly if quick replies are on hand. Payouts reveal the honest side behind a casino, so clear limits and prompt handling earn confidence. Sensible gaming should stay in focus, so reality checks and clear budgets really safeguard the user. A genuine licence is the first thing to check, because it proves that the operator follows strict requirements. Welcome offers look tempting, yet their real value rests on the wagering terms, which deserve a close review. Deposit choices need to be convenient, and the withdrawal speed is usually one of the most telling signs of a fair site. The range of titles tends to be broad, from video slots to roulette, giving players plenty of options. In the end, a thoughtful selection depends on facts, so take your time, verify details and keep control.

Dow Chemicals HQ progressing on site

Hannan Associates are continuing to work in conjunction with main contractor Seddon Construction, architect Leach Rhodes Walker & structural engineers Integra Consulting, under Muse Developments to deliver new ‘Office and Research & Development Headquarters’ for the prestigious Dow Chemicals.

Dow Chemicals has pre-let the two-floor 26,037sqft unit to house its national management team, technical and sales office and will include a product research and development facility.

The project is now approaching completion and we are continuing to attend site, whilst adhering to social distancing guidance, in order to monitor the progression of on-site works and ensure the quality of installations being undertaken by Seddon and M&E subcontractor HE Simm.

Hannan have been providing Building Services & Utility Infrastructure consultancy, with the current development of Plot 3300 being one of the few remaining areas for development. We are responsible for the delivery of the performance specification for the CAT A MEP services design, which incorporates a multitude of tenant driven requirements; from specific incoming power criteria, to zoned sprinkler system and bespoke ventilation strategy.

Role: BREEAM & Sustainability Consultant

How did you become a BREEAM & Sustainability Consultant?

I was interested in the environment. I was brought up in the countryside and as a kid I always noticed things like littering and it upset me. I always had a real sense of wanting to protect the environment.

I studied Environmental Management and Sustainability at University and my first job out of Uni was for a local company offering Carbon accreditations. This leant itself really well working with companies and assessing their performance in relation to sustainability.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?

I do enjoy the project management aspect, completing projects and getting certificates is satisfying. I also love seeing innovative technologies and building solutions – it never ceases to amaze me how ingenious humans can be to solve problems. I also love noseying around sites and new buildings before they open to the public!

Out of all the projects you’ve been involved with have you got a favourite and why?

My first BREEAM certificate was quite a special one; it was a new university building in Liverpool so that was memorable. My favourite current project is probably the Ralli Quays office building in Salford. The design team is really proactive and pushing the boundaries with this building and it’s exciting to watch it unfold.

How has the industry changed since you first started your career?

When I did my degrees, the industry was really starting to gain momentum. I would say that is still building and there is so much more ‘noise’ around sustainability, but I’m not sure it’s translating into enough action

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

I enjoy being active; riding my horse, mountain biking and walking the dog with my partner, we also love going out for tea!

If you weren’t an engineer, what would you be?

I tried to be a professional horse rider out of college and I wasn’t brave enough! So I’d probably be a psychologist. I am very interested in mental health and do believe it is intrinsically linked to achieving a sustainable society.

Planning Submitted for Swizzels at Ma6nitude

Hannans are currently working for Tritax Symmetry, providing MEP Consultancy for the delivery of a 158,000 sq ft manufacturing facility for Swizzels Matlow.

The new facility will be an expansion of the confectioner’s current manufacturing capability and involves a significant additional investment in new manufacturing plant and machinery.

A planning application for the project has been submitted.

We are very pleased to join AEW Architects, RPS and Shepherd Gilmour on the project design team.

MA6NITUDE is one of the North West’s largest manufacturing and logistics parks and is based in Middlewich close to junction 18 of the M6 motorway. The park is already home to B&M Retail, Wincanton and Kuehne + Nagel and there is capacity to deliver a further 2.2m sq ft of new manufacturing and logistics space.

Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

Years at Hannans: 5

How did you become a building services engineer?

During my time at school and college I worked in a garage assisting with car repairs and services, as I had always wanted to own and maintain my own classic car. Alongside my interest in mechanics and how things work, I found myself performing better in science-based subjects, which meant a degree in Mechanical Engineering was the ideal course.

After completing my degree, I returned to work as a bar supervisor whilst searching for permanent jobs. My employer had previously run an engineering firm and he recommended Hannan’s. After making initial contact, I was invited to two interviews and started with Hannan soon after.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?

I find it really satisfying to get involved on a project at an early stage and develop the M&E strategies, begin to present these on drawings, then see the various services installed as drawn when the project advances to construction phases.

Out of all the projects you’ve been involved with have you got a favourite and why?

The majority of my experience stems from the commercial and residential sectors and of these projects one of my favourites has been the Oakfield 4 development, which is currently under construction at Cheadle Royal Business Park.

The building is modest in size, however the design team have had to overcome a number of challenges as a result of some tenant specific requirements. The proposed tenant is a prestigious American multi-national chemical corporation, who will use the building as their new UK headquarters and incorporates research & development facilities.

How has the industry changed since you first started your career?

Even in the relatively short time I’ve been in the industry; there has been a significant shift towards BIM protocol and Revit, which helps in co-ordinating with other disciplines early on in the design stages of a project.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

In my spare time I try to keep active both in the gym and by running. I also play rugby and (try to play) golf.

If you weren’t an engineer, what would you be?

If I wasn’t an engineer; I would have liked to join one of the armed forces.
