Hannan Associates are very pleased to be part of the next stage of Stockport Council’s Stockport Exchange development.

Our clients Muse Developments and Stockport Council have submitted a planning application for Phase 3 of the development, which includes 2 Stockport Exchange,a new six-storey Grade A office building in the heart of Stockport’s new central business district.

The building will incorporate environmentally friendly design features such as a green roof, photovoltaic panels, LED lighting and ultra-low water consuming fittings. Passive features including the use of natural daylight and enhanced building envelope minimise the building’s energy consumption and carbon emissions.

The new office will be developed next door to the recently completed One Stockport Exchange office, and is part of a masterplan that will deliver up to 375,000 sq ft of office space and 28,000 sq ft of commercial floor space. One Stockport Exchange was built by Eric Wright Group and is now fully let. The £145 million development of Stockport Exchange is a key part of the £1 billion investment programme taking place across Stockport at present building on the town’s great strengths to make it an even better place to live, work and visit.

We are pleased to be part of Muse Development’s team, who were selected as Stockport’s development partner.  We join Aedas Architects, RPS Group, Gillespies and Curtins Consulting on the design team.

All the buildings have been designed to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating using the latest sustainability standards.
