We are currently working with London based developer, Provest and Sustainable by Design Architects on behalf of N&G developments Ltd, on this luxury residential development situated within the Coombe Hill Conservation Area between the town centres of Wimbledon and Kingston upon Thames, providing detailed M&E design, co-ordination and on site monitoring services.
The project involves the demolition of an existing dwelling and construction of 3 detached, luxury, 8 bedroomed family Villas, each with their own outdoor swimming pool.
These sustainable homes are being built to Passivehaus standards for the building fabric, and will incorporate PV array technology at roof level to provide supplementary electricity, as well as rain water harvesting systems serving the WC’s. Ventilation to each property is provided by extensive whole house ventilation systems with heat recovery.
Due to the high end specification requirements of each Villa, supplementary heating and cooling is provided via high efficiency, high C.O.P., VRF systems utilizing ceiling void mounted fan coil units. LTHW underfloor heating systems are also provided to main bathroom and en-suite areas, with these systems being served by high efficiency air to water air source heat pump units.
