ROJECT OVERVIEW

Habiko have selected a site in central Warrington for the development of around 240 new homes for rent.

Hannan Associates have been appointed to provide Building Services Engineering consultancy and BREEAM Assessment duties.

The project aims to create affordable, low-carbon, low-energy, homes designed to help residents save money on their bills.

Other members on Habiko’s Warrington project design team include: AHR Architects, Safer Shere, Design Fire Consultants, Gillespies, Stantec, Hive Projects, Curtins and Abacus.

Habiko is an affordable housing partnership, a joint venture between PIC, Muse and Homes England.

The Warrington site has been selected alongside another development site in Chester, where proposals include the development of around 350 new homes.

Both sites have been chosen strategically in areas where there is a need for this type of housing and where there is good access to public transport; pedestrian routes; the town centre and employment opportunities.
