This project involved the conversion of the grade 2 listed North Western Hotel. John Moores University converted the building into city centre student accommodation.

The building forms an important part of the collection of 19th Century buildings on St George’s Plateau, and the work involved extensive restoration of the exterior and parts of the interior where surviving original elements were retained.
